Mr. Vassily Sinaisky conducts Tampere Filharmonia’s concert on Jan 31 instead of Mr. Thomas Dausgaard

There has been a last-minute change to the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert on Friday, January 31, 2025. Conductor Thomas Dausgaard has unfortunately had to cancel his visit to Tampere. Instead, the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra will play under the baton of conductor Vassily Sinaisky in this concert.

Further, the opening piece of the concert on January 31, 2025 will also change. Instead of Johan Svendsen’s Symphony No. 2, it will open with Antonín Dvořák’s Carnival Overture. Otherwise, the programme for the concert called “Northern Wind” remains unchanged. Swedish-Danish cellist Andreas Brantelid will perform Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations.
